- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip, for topping
- ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- Maraschino cherries, for garnish
- Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Crust
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.
- Press the mixture firmly into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Place in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
Step 2: Make the Creamy Filling
- Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
- Gently fold in Cool Whip to create a light, fluffy filling.
- Spread the mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
Step 3: Assemble the Layers
- Arrange sliced bananas over the cream cheese layer.
- Evenly spread drained crushed pineapple on top of the bananas.
- Spread a thick layer of Cool Whip over the entire dessert.
Step 4: Add Toppings & Chill
- Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the Cool Whip layer.
- Decorate with maraschino cherries and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
