For the Rolls:
- 1 (13-16 oz) package pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk (or heavy cream for a richer glaze)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prepare
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
Step 2: Roll Out the Dough
- On a floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a 10×14-inch rectangle.
Step 3: Add the Filling
- In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
- Brush melted butter over the rolled-out dough.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered surface.
- Drizzle with vanilla extract for extra flavor.
Step 4: Roll & Cut
- Roll the dough tightly into a log, starting from the long side.
- Slice into 1-inch rolls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 5: Bake the Rolls
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown and slightly crisp on the edges.
Step 6: Prepare the Glaze
- While the rolls bake, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Step 7: Drizzle & Serve
- Drizzle the glaze over warm rolls and serve immediately. Enjoy!
