- 12 Hawaiian rolls (or brioche buns)
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter (for eggs)
- 8 oz ham (sliced)
- 6 slices cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella)
- 2 tbsp butter (melted, for topping)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat with butter until just set.
- Slice the rolls in half. Layer ham, eggs, and cheese on the bottom half. Place the top half over the filling.
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Dijon mustard. Brush over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly, then cut and enjoy warm!
